Finding More Time, Next Steps

Finding More Time, Next Steps

There’s just not enough time.

Hopefully after my last post about how to find more time in your current schedule you’ve found at least a little more time in your week.

As promised, now that you have a bit more time over the next several posts I’m going to go over the steps I take to not only find even more time (after I’ve used my tool, that is), but prioritize the most important things first so that I can work towards my goals without becoming completely overwhelmed with the process.

Finally See Progress Using Small Steps

Finally See Progress Using Small Steps

So tell me… how is that progress coming along? Did you stop and take inventory of where you are to begin like we talked about two weeks ago? Or did you think,

“Yeah Erin, that’s a great idea,” then finish going through your emails and promptly go on with your day?

If that was you, you’re not alone

In fact, the reason I’m writing this to you now is because that’s the exact pattern I slip into if I’m not careful.

Happy 2023

Happy 2023

Are you sick of all the gym, meal plan, and weight loss advertisements yet? Are you ready to throw your (too many) resolutions at the window? Are you overwhelmed from the overstimulation of the holidays and the “excitement” of a new year?

Perfectionism is Holding You Back

Perfectionism is Holding You Back

I took a bite of something I said I wasn’t going to eat. I messed up. Today is ruined. I’ll start over tomorrow. Or next week, or next month, or…

Sound familiar?

Here’s the thing. I’m about to tell you something, and there’s a good chance you’re not going to like it. In fact, by me telling you this, you may decide you don’t like ME anymore and will choose to “break-up” with me. It’s fine, I can take it. Do I want you to like me? Yes. Do I crave appreciation and affirmation? Yes. But is what I’m about to tell you so important that I will endanger our relationship? Yes.

Postpartum "After" Pics

Postpartum "After" Pics

Let’s be honest- I’m all about taking progress pictures. That being said, I’ve always hated 30 day “Before and after picture” competitions. Cough, excuse me, challenges. But that’s what it is, right? A competition.

I’ve always been frustrated with 30 day photo challenges because while we see two pictures side by side, what we don’t see is the whole picture. We see the before picture, the after picture, and read a short snippet how life has miraculously changed in 30 days… but what about the rest of the story?
